About Bayview
A lifelong love for animals, brought home.
Bayview Pet Services LLC is a locally owned and operated Norfolk, Virginia business offering thoughtful breeding programs and dependable pet care grounded in hands-on experience.
Our beginning
Built from experience—and a need for care people could trust.
Kami Kohl officially founded Bayview Pet Services LLC in January 2025, but her experience caring for animals began many years earlier. She spent more than 18 years riding horses, grew up fostering animals for the SPCA, and regularly cared for the pets of friends and neighbors.
When she stepped away from the equine world, that lifelong passion found a new home in raising dogs. Bayview came to life after Kami repeatedly heard families express the same concern: trustworthy, reliable pet care was difficult to find. She set out to create the kind of service she would want for her own animals—personal, communicative, experienced, and dependable.
Bayview Miniature Dachshunds
It started with Mulligan.
Kami’s love for dachshunds began while pet sitting her first dachshund, Mulligan. She quickly fell in love with the breed’s unmistakable personality and devoted nature.
That experience led to years of careful research into the breed, its health concerns, structure, temperament, and responsible preservation. Choosing her first breeder was only the beginning. Today, Bayview Miniature Dachshunds is committed to AKC-registered dogs raised at home with special consideration for health, sound structure, stable temperament, and lifelong breeder support.
7Cities American Bullies
A shared vision with Kaden.
Kami’s partner, Kaden Baker, brought a genuine passion for American Bullies to the Bayview family. Together, Kami and Kaden saw a breed with incredible potential, but with standards and direction that are still being firmly established.
They set out to build a correct, thoughtful program centered on stable temperaments, solid structure, health-conscious decisions, and capable family companions—American Bullies that are left lacking nothing.
One standard throughout
Thoughtful breeding. Reliable care. Animals known as individuals.
Whether a family comes to Bayview for a future puppy or for help caring for the pet already beside them, the promise is the same: honest communication, practical knowledge, personal attention, and care that never treats an animal like a number.
