Health standards

Sound dogs start with informed decisions.

Before entering a breeding plan, our American Bullies complete the age-appropriate health evaluations recommended through OFA for the breed-relevant risks considered in our program.

Each dog also receives comprehensive DNA screening through Embark, with supplemental genetic testing through UC Davis or another qualified laboratory when a dog’s lineage, traits, or planned pairing calls for it. Genetic screening supports—but never replaces—physical evaluation, veterinary care, sound structure, and stable temperament.
